Enterprise Europe Network, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein delegation visits Estonia
The challenge to Estonian companies is that, coming from a small country, they almost always have to think internationally. Therefore there is a great willingness to invest in building new relationships to Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein and deepening existing ones.
Last week Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) visited Tallinn and the Startup Day in Tartu together with its partners Tutech Innovation and WTSH and the Hamburg Invest and WTSH startup units. Estonia’s startup scene is very innovative and can certainly act as a source of inspiration. For Estonians, digital medical records and doing official paperwork online part of day-to-day life and not projects for the future. “We’d heard a lot of good things about the Startup Day in Tartu and wanted to see the event for ourselves. The Startup Day was well attended both by startups and by investors from Estonia and other European countries. We rounded off our time in Tartu with a day and a half in Tallinn, visiting the e-Estonia Showroom and the Tehnopol technology park as well as meeting various companies as a group and individually,” says our Tutech colleague Silke Schleiff from EEN.
