Personal data is individual information about the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. Such personal data includes, for example, the name, address, date of birth, e-mail address and IP address (Internet Protocol address).

I. What data is collected on our website?

1. Data that you enter in forms on our website.
2. Data that you do not enter in forms on this website, but which is automatically transferred to our web server as general information by your browser (e.g. your IP address).

4. The general information that your browser (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer or other) sends with every enquiry is stored in a so-called log file. This data is used exclusively for statistical purposes and to analyse errors. Personal data is not utilised and, where possible, is not collected in the first place. The anonymisation of IP addresses by Matomo is activated.

In principle, it is possible to create a profile directly via the user behaviour of a specific user, for example, if the IP is known (especially if the IP was assigned statically). When dialling in via an Internet provider, you are usually assigned a new IP each time you dial in. This means that only the provider can draw conclusions about the specific person via the IP.

Tutech ensures that this data is only used for the purpose of measuring the success of the website. Individual user profiles are not created. Data is not analysed in relation to individuals or profiles. We collect general visitor statistics using the open source Matomo (formerly Piwik) to support our decisions on conversions and optimisations.

You are not being tracked since your browser is reporting that you do not want to. This is a setting of your browser so you won’t be able to opt-in until you disable the ‘Do Not Track’ feature.

II. Storage of Data

1. 1. Data from forms. When forms are sent, the content is usually sent as an e-mail to a Tutech employee. You will receive an e-mail with the content of the stored data at the same time or at the latest after your message has been processed.

   3. Web server log files. This data is stored solely for technical reasons or for statistical purposes. These statistics are occasionally used to create a performance evaluation and are not used to analyse individual visitors.

III. Disclosure of Data

Tutech Innovation GmbH does NOT pass on personal data to third parties. Exceptions to this are only possible if there is a legal obligation. Such a legal obligation exists, for example, vis-à-vis investigating authorities.

IV. Cookies

A cookie is information that a website can store in a simple text file in the web browser (i.e. on your computer). The website can read this information again, even on your next visit, if it is a permanent cookie. Cookies are used by online shops, for example, to temporarily store the contents of your “shopping basket” until the actual order is placed. They are also frequently used to store your user ID on websites with restricted access. It is therefore not necessary to re-enter data each time you visit the site because it can be retrieved directly. Tutech does not use cookies wherever possible. However, if the absence of cookies makes it necessary for the visitor to repeatedly enter login data, for example, then cookies are used for user-friendly operation. The WordPress software we use can use new cookies under certain circumstances, e.g. after version updates. We check this regularly and correct it in the interests of data minimisation.

V. Data security

We ensure a high level of data security on all the web servers we use. As much as we are convinced of the security of the data once it arrives on our servers, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmission over the Internet. Our websites are also all equipped with a certificate so that encrypted data transmission via https is possible. As a rule, the websites are set up so that https is the default setting.

VI. Consent / refusal to the collection of data

Form data: You can decide for yourself which data you enter in forms. Some forms have mandatory fields if processing is not possible without this information. The accuracy of the content is irrelevant for the check. However, please bear in mind that we cannot reply to you by e-mail without your e-mail address. In addition, anonymous enquirers generally only receive general information and in some cases these enquiries can be inadvertently classified as spam and therefore cannot be answered.

Web server log files: If you do not wish to transmit any system information to us, you are of course free to make use of appropriate anonymisation services. We do not use any filters or geoblocking.

Cookies: You can configure your web browser so that it does not accept cookies. This may prevent you from using many functions on the web.

We use your voluntarily provided data exclusively for the purpose for which you have given it to us. We will only use your data for these purposes if you have also given us your consent to use it for other offers or for marketing purposes. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. Stored personal data will be deleted if you withdraw your consent to storage, if knowledge of the data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was stored or if storage of the data is not permitted for other legal reasons.

We will update this privacy policy from time to time. Please check this page from time to time to stay informed about how we are protecting your information and improving the content of our website.
