Wide range of possible applications for hydrogen as an energy source of the future
On 22 April, Tutech took part in the 3rd Hydrogen Symposium south of the Elbe at Tempowerk. The event focussed on the topic of ‘Application’ and highlighted the many possible uses of hydrogen as an important energy source of the future. Together with the Technical University of Hamburg and the Business Association for the South of Hamburg, Tempowerk organised an exciting afternoon of networking and professional exchange.
The event offered an extensive programme, ranging from an exhibition with around 30 exhibitors to keynote speeches and a panel discussion. Tutech was also represented on site as a co-operation partner of Tempowerk. Our colleagues from several departments took the opportunity to hold varied and interesting discussions with other participants and to exchange information on current developments and projects relating to hydrogen.
In addition to the exhibition and networking opportunities, the programme was characterised by high-calibre contributions: Keynote speeches by renowned experts such as Detlev Wösten (P2X-Europe), Dr Dennis Gibhardt (TU Hamburg) and Björn Jotzo (Luxcara) shed light on the potential of hydrogen in mobility, materials development and industry. The event concluded with an exciting panel discussion on the question of whether hydrogen already represents a business case for the industry.
Participation in the hydrogen symposium offered Tutech the opportunity to further expand its own expertise and networking in the field of hydrogen.
