Fourth “Green Potential Screening” funding call

The funding enables low-threshold entry into research and development (R&D) projects for validating potential. Its aim is to provide targeted support ahead of the actual development of environmental innovations.

Funded projects should contribute to identifying and evaluating significant potential for reducing environmental impact. This includes reducing impact in the areas of resource efficiency, energy efficiency, product life cycles and the evaluation and estimation of CO2 reduction potential. The goal is to lay the foundations for subsequent achievement of this potential within the framework of an R&D project.

Who?
Companies and universities with a base in Hamburg are eligible to apply.

How?
Following initial contact (by phone or email), a three-page project outline may be submitted. This is followed by a personal discussion of the project during a consultation. An application may then be submitted, followed by an expert report on innovative content and environmental impact. The IFB not only provides financial resources, but also supports funding recipients in successfully setting up and implementing the projects.
