A cause for celebration in Harburger Schloßstraße: As well as the award the Plancraft team received prizemoney plus a startup bag with numerous non-cash prizes.

Plancraft is a spin-out from TU Harburg. It won over the judging panel with its software for efficient order processing by skilled trades companies, leaving them free to concentrate on their craftsmanship. Awards were made in two further categories:

START category: PANDA

The spin-out from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität (HSU) designed a product that is a combination of hardware and software for the optimisation of industrial processes. Using artificial intelligence, it automatically identifies causes of error and optimises production parameters.

GROWTH category: Wunder Mobility

Wunder Mobility offers innovative B2B mobility solutions that run in the background at many mobility providers worldwide.

Today, 24 September, the new, independent format #HHIS goes virtual brought together over 800 online participants from the Hamburg innovation scene plus further guests from all over Germany. For the first time, the Hamburg Innovation Summit was purely digital and enabled an online, cross-sector, interdisciplinary exchange of ideas. It was streamed live free of charge from the Stage Theater Hamburg. Virtual exhibitors, live-chats, virtual tours plus a diverse webinar offering turned the event into an innovative transfer platform.

The presentation of the Hamburg Innovation Awards (HHIA) were once again a highlight of the event. Nine companies had made it through to the finals and waited with baited breath for the announcement of the winners by Katharina Fegebank and Michael Westhagemann. HHIS is funded by the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Innovation and first took place in 2015. Its goal is to further strengthen the strategic development of innovative ventures and projects in Hamburg.
