“Green Potential Screening” funding initiative

“Green Potential Screening” funding initiative

Up to 70% funding rate for companies and 100% for universities and research institutes. For companies of any size and sector and for all technology areas.

The “Green Potential Screening” funding initiative is intended to help identify unused potential in order to improve existing products and processes for the benefit of the climate and the environment. The focus is on innovation in the fields of resource and energy efficiency as well the circular economy.

Who?
Eligible to apply are companies and company consortia that have a permanent base in Hamburg as well as Hamburg-based universities/research institutes if they are cooperation partners of a company making an application.

What?
In order to achieve an improvement in the area of climate and environmental conservation, “Green Potential Screening” is intended to act as a feasibility study to identify and substantiate potential for innovation. The purpose of the initiative is to uncover and evaluate significant potential for reducing the burden on the environment (resource efficiency, energy efficiency, product life cycle) and, if applicable, to evaluate the CO2 equivalent. The goal is to lay the foundations for a subsequent realisation of the identified reduction potential through an R&D project.

The feasibility study can be run as a cooperative project including external scientific support. Universities and research institutes in Hamburg can be allocated 100% funding.

Should you be interested in a cooperative project, please get in touch with us. If you would like to receive funding, you should submit your application by 20.12.2023 at the latest.
